This clock strikes a gong on the hour and half hour and has an outside escapement.  The porcelain case is hand numbered # 661.  The porcelain dial bears Ansonia's trademark and the bezel has a perfect beveled glass, covering the dial.  The movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled.
