ANT856 Seth Thomas "Chicago" City Series mantel clock (ca 1885)

This clock is circa 1885, the real peak of American clock-making.  The wooden case is in good condition and the columns and corner accents have been nicely repainted.  The reverse-painted lower tablet appears to be original with a great image of a blue bird on a tree branch.  The dial has been professionally refurbished and is accurately done.  The clock movement has been professionally serviced and comes with a 1 year warranty.
