ANT857 Antique Waterbury Beehive 8 Day Mantel Clock (Circa 1895)

This clock features a working alarm function.  Clock strikes a wire gong on the hour and the alarm rings on a brass bell.  The original label remains behind the pendulum.  The frosted bottom glass is a replacement, but is very fitting for the period in which the clock was made.  All else is original to the clock, including the aged dial.  A beautiful clock displaying the superior American craftsmanship of this period.  The movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled.
