Strikes the hour and half hour on a mellow coiled gong.  The brass case is in perfect condition with no blemishes; the same is true of the beveled glass on all four sides of the case, no chips, cracks, or breakage.  It comes with the original mercury pendulum and a flawless original porcelain dial.  The clock is perfect in very way and has been overhauled, serviced, oiled and regulated.
