Elegant Grandmother Clock made by the Colonial Clock Company of Zeeland, Michigan which stopped clock production in the late 1970's.  This clock is circa 1970 and retains the original West German mechanism, which is common for a Colonial of this age.  The chain driven mechanism has been professionally cleaned, oiled and regulated and carries a 1-year warranty.  The solid mahogany case is virtually flawless and is very clean, with no cracks or breakage.  This clock has a wonderful, rich Westminster chime which wounds every fifteen minutes.  the moon dial is working well, keeping track of the lunar phase once set.  The pendulum and weights are brushed brass and have a great patina.  There is a provision for the chime and strike functions to be turned on and off as well.  This is a truly fantastic clock in size, condition, and appearance, it has been very well cared for throughout it's life.  The measurements are above for your convenience.
