ANT882 Seth Thomas Rosewood Tudor No 3 Mantel Clock (circa1863)

The wonderful rosewood veneer is nearly perfect with very little loss.  The painted dial is beginning to flake in a couple areas, but we elected to leave it in it's original state rather than replace it.  The clock strikes the hour only on a coiled gong.  It still has the original alarm feature which is in working order and the original  "ST" hands  are present as well.  A nearly perfect example of an earlier Seth Thomas clock.  The movement has been cleaned and oiled.
