Comitti of London has constructed this regal wall clock to commemorate the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.  This is a truly unique "one of kind" clock as after Comitti built this clock , it was decided that no others would be produced.  From top to bottom, many unique detals are utilized that make this clock magnificent. 

The crisp white dial has bold arabic numerals, and spade-style blued hands indicate the time.  Beneath the winding arbors, Abraham Lincoln's signature has been beautifully transfered, and beneath, the years of his life (1809-1865), then "16th President of the United States, Limited Edition."  The lower glass has an intricately etched image of the front stairs of the Lincoln memorial.  Surrounding the lower door each of the four corners is a hand painted cameo.  The cameo in the upper left hand corner depicts General Ulysses S. Grant, head of the Union army, and the upper right cameo depicts General Robert E. Lee, head of the confederate army during the Civil War.  The lower two cameos are images of Abraham Lincoln, the left illustrates Lincoln speaking at an assembly, and the right is a portrait of Lincoln.  Inside the lower door is a brass plaque that authenticates the clock and states, "The Abraham Lincoln Clock, No. 1 of 1, Made in England.  The crowning jewel is a hand carved majestic eagle, perched atop the clock, America's symbol of freedom and pride.  The clock case is constructed with solid cherry wood, and the bezel and pendulum are solid brass. 

Inside, Comitti of London has utilized a Kieninger 8 day time & strike movement, made in Germany.  It announces the hour and half hour on a cathedral gong.  Comitti has incorporated an option for the strike to be disabled.
