Determined to bring honor to her family, Mulan (plussed with pewter fan) dresses herself in the traditional garb of a bride to please her mother and her grandmother-but not necessarily herself.  So in need of help and guidance is Mulan, that Mushu the little dragon (plussed with pewter, brass wire, and steel)-banging a gong so loudly it could wake the dead-appoints himself as the lovely and courageous maiden's helper.  The problem: Mushu isn't all that helpful.
